When things go wrong as they sometimes will;
When the road you’re trudging seems all uphill;
When you funds are low and the debts are high
And you want to smile, but have to sigh;
When care is pressing you down a bit;
Rest if you must, but do not quit.
Life is queer with twist and turns;
As every one of us sometimes learn;
Stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit;
It’s when things go wrong that you must not quit.
We will either find a way or make one.
Things will happen in life that we can’t stop, but that’s not reason to shut out the world.
